With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, The Bott Agency was founded on one simple principle: put clients first and do things the right way.
Thomas M. Bott began his career after earning a degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce University. He went on to work with major insurance carriers including Aetna and Transamerica Insurance Group, gaining hands-on experience in claims, accounting, underwriting, and marketing.
As his career progressed, Tom stepped into executive leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President at Alea North America and later Executive Vice President for a Managing General Agency. These roles gave him a deep understanding of how insurance works from every angle—something that directly benefits his clients today.
In 2012, he founded The Bott Agency to bring that experience to individuals, families, and businesses across Connecticut and New York—offering straightforward guidance, strong carrier relationships, and personalized coverage solutions.
Based in Brookfield, Connecticut, Tom continues to serve clients with a hands-on, responsive approach—making insurance simple, clear, and tailored to each situation.
